FindAutoService is the front door to a family of single-purpose California auto-service sites — dedicated finders and plain-English guides for smog checks, oil changes, gas stations, and more. It is published by Cal Auto Doors, the publishing team behind Cal Smog Network’s driver guides, and operated by Cal Smog Network, a California smog check station network.
Each card on the front page links a site that does exactly one job — locating a certified station, explaining a price, or answering the questions drivers actually ask. This hub adds nothing on top: no forms, no sign-ups, no lead capture. New services appear here only when their dedicated finder is live.
The linked finder sites build their listings from public records: the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (bar.ca.gov) public station and license records, and OpenStreetMap (published under the ODbL). Listings are refreshed on a twice-monthly cycle. The guide sites render their answers from a single maintained answer library verified against BAR, DMV, and California Air Resources Board program sources.
